Why can’t wordpress make their blog work with the Opera
web browser I don’t like to use firefox to post with.

FIREFOX:
firefox is over rated and slow.
And I don’t think firefox3 works with older legacy versions of linux. The last time i tride to use firefox3 beta it wold not work even with ( export LD_LIBRARY_PATH= ) .
firefox gtk crap : firefox is a gtk2 . Opera is QT. Opera also has QT legacy... versions for linux. ~
So opera woks on a lot of flavors of linux.
Opera supports validated web standards.
FIREFOX is a hacked to gether mod of this and that.
so what if firefox is opensource .
I could never compile their source code it’s need
a crap load of dev kits and libraries. and firefox is to (GTK2.+) centric.
The older version of firefox2 worked ok for me
but i can’t get firefox3 to work for crap.
I give up and i will just keep using opera for now.

opera9.2.7 is stable.

opera9.5 is buggy mplayerplug-in NO longer works but will pass (. mpg) url’s to xine to play video files with.
( conclusions) :
I still prefer to use the mplayerplug-in that i compiled for short video clips. So im’ using oper9.2.7 for now until firefox3 and opera9.5 come up with a fix.
